HSMAI are launching a new Online Course in Revenue Management targetted at people new to the Revenue Department, and hoteliers that need to understand more about revenue management.  The workshop will be 3 x hours and will cover two courses.  After the workshop, attendees can go online and complete the course to gain a Certificate of Attainment for a single topic, or an Associate Diploma of Revenue Management if they complete the full 10 x course program. The online course has an additional charge.

This will be action-packed session, and you’ll learn a lot, whether you decide to go on and complete the online modules, or not.

Maria Taylor has been continuously recognized as a leader in her field and for her contribution to the industry over the years. Besides speaking at numerous industry events, she also earned several prestigious citations that include “Sales Person of the Year 2011” by Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) Singapore, Accor’s “Excellence in Financial Performance” in 2005 and “Hospitality IT Person of the Year 2000” by International Hotel Technologies Australia.

Prior to joining TravelClick, Ms. Taylor held the position of Regional Vice President, Sales and Distribution, for 3 years with Meritus Hotels and Resorts from 2012, as well as various senior management roles across multiple disciplines – from Hotel General Manager to IT to Sales and Distribution – with Accor Hotels and Resorts Asia Pacific for 19 years. Over this period, the company grew from 20 to 450 hotels across 16 countries within the region.

As Vice President for Direct Sales and Loyalty at Accor, Ms. Taylor was responsible for all Accors Online & Loyalty Marketing activities in Asia Pacific, as well as Revenue Management across all segments, traveling extensively to provide leadership in driving valuable business to Accor hotels in Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand, among others.

Michael is the Asia Pacific General Manager for HeBS Digital.  Since 2001 HeBS Digital has helped hoteliers maximize the contributions from the direct online channel.  Michael’s experience includes Corporate Director of eCommerce for White Lodging Services responsible for all eCommerce activities for 30 full services hotels throughout the United States 2011 – 2013; Vice President of Sales for HeBS Digital from 2009 – 2011 and various other roles in the digital space dating back to 1996.   Michael is married with 3 children and lives in Auckland, New Zealand.
